Projection: First Light –A Shadow Puppet World Is Waiting For You–

What is Projection: First Light?

Bridge1Projection: First Light is a platform graphic adventure based on the manipulation of lights. We will explore a wonderful dark-styled shadow puppet world that can remember us to the graphic adventure Limbo or similar games like it. The strongest point of this game that has hooked us is the unique gameplay which it’s based on.

Forest1In this game, we will take the role of Greta, a girl that lives in a mythological shadow puppet world, that embarks on a journey in which we will meet legendary heroes from every culture she discovers. Accompanied by atmospheric visuals and an ethereal soundtrack made with antique instruments used for shadow puppet performances, Projection: First Light will take you on a trip through the history of shadow puppets over Indonesia, China, Turkey, Greece and 19th century England.

CityScape1The platforms of the game will be of 2 types, ones will be static and for what we’ve seen will be pieces of floor, bridges etc. The other type will be the shadows that we will create using the light source we can move around the screen, and that will connect the way we will have to follow.

In Conclusion: We are sure that if Projection: First Light’s developers continue working hard, this project will hook us with its original style during all our gameplay.

If you want more information about the game you can take a look at their webpage or at their twitter account. You can also read other previews here or just share this post with your friends.

Do you want to discover a similar game to this one but with aliens inside a VCR?
